My Hectic Summer

It has been way too long since I’ve written. I have been insanely busy! School ended for the year on May 4th, but I have been going non-stop ever since. I had a week off from school before my summer classes began. I have never done anything so hard! I took 9 credits in 5 weeks! It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but by the grace of God I got through it. After that I had another week off, during which time I helped my sister and brother-in-law move into their beautiful new house in Ohio, went to a family reunion in Michigan, and read two books I have been wanting to read for months. The day after we got back from Michigan I started classes again. Fortunately, these will be quite a bit easier because I am not taking so many at once. And I am home in Roanoke with Mom and Dad. I am taking 1 class and doing an internship with Roanoke Memories Oral History Project. After I finish the class I will have about three weeks off before school starts again for the fall. This has been and will continue to be one of the busiest summers ever, but its worth it. Taking these classes will ensure that I’ll graduate in May 2008, which will allow me to get a job a lot sooner than if I waited to take these classes in the fall and graduated in December 2008. Needless to say, I’ll definitely need a break after their over!
